JuneAlpine Winter Festival- Ice Skating
The Alpine Winter Festival is an all-ages winter wonderland that brings Adelaide's coast to life in the heart of winter!
Each June, Glenelg's foreshore is transformed into a magical alpine festival with ice skating, immersive art installations, markets, delicious food and 24 nights of live music.
The White Marquee returns to Moseley Square in July 2022. We can't wait to strap on our skates and glide on the ice inside a windowed and beautifully lit glass marquee with views of the beach, only a minute's walk from the Ensenada Motor Inn and Suites, Glenelg.

Adelaide Cabaret Festival
The Adelaide Cabaret Festival is an annual festival commencing on the Queen’s Birthday long weekend each June.
Now in its 22nd year and the biggest festival of its kind, Adelaide Festival Centre's Adelaide Cabaret Festival has become a major event in the international and Australian arts calendar.
The Festival has garnered a reputation of highlighting the best local, national and international artists through an eclectic program of classic and contemporary cabaret performances.

SeptemberThe Big Wedgie Waterslide
The Big Wedgie - THE WORLD’S TALLEST INFLATABLE WATERSLIDE WILL RETURN THIS SUMMER!
The Big Wedgie, the tallest inflatable waterslide in the world will return to West Beach Parks, Military Road, West Beach next summer, approx 5 minutes by car from the Ensenada Motor Inn and Suites.
At a whopping 18.2m tall and 72m long, The Big Wedgie is not for the faint hearted and is definitely a thrill ride. With a 55 degree drop, you are sure to have a blast rocketing down the steep slope being soaked in water!

City - Bay Fun Run
Ensenada Motor Inn and Suites is on the Finish Line of The City-Bay Fun Run, Adelaide's largest fun run. The next event is in September, 2022.
Every year thousands of people get dressed up--some more than others--to run or walk from the North Terrace down to Glenelg. In its first year the run had 1,600 participants, now there are around 30,000 runners who join in every year. The run kicks off near the North Terrace and King William Street intersection and goes through the city, down Anzac Highway, finishing along Jetty Road at Glenelg.
The full course is 12km but for those who want something shorter there are 6km and 3km options. You can walk or run. The City-Bay always features a wide variety of people; there are the Sub-60 runners who complete the 12km in under 60 minutes, while others use it as an opportunity to have fun with friends and family while dressing up in some crazy costumes.

OctoberAdelaide Film Festival
The biennial Festival is considered one of Australia’s most distinctive and innovative. Every two years, AFF screens the very best of contemporary Australian and international feature films, documentaries, short films and virtual reality productions and premieres screen projects made with the support of the Adelaide Film Festival Investment Fund.
Also known as the ‘friendly festival’, Adelaide Film Festival is renowned for welcoming filmmaker guests and patrons from around Australia and the globe. 2022 will see the resumption of guests being able to travel for the Festival to Adelaide, South Australia, a centre for filmmaking and cultural excellence in Australia.
